All tech reviewers under estimate xiaomi 14 ultra and being ignorant to its performance. But professionals will know professional tech unlike many camera smartphones heavily relying on AI algorithms software. Xiaomi 14 ultra still has weaknesses but Xiaomi brand and with its strong R&D surely caught others off guard soon seeing how fast xiaomi developed its technology.

Are you for real? I ordered on AliExpress for 1400 and it comes with the Xiaomi pad 6, photography kit and free buds 5 pro & it's a global Version, the Hong Kong one is global ROM too? Chinese ROM cost 800-900 for 1Tb on AliExpress but I'm done with China ROMs

I use the Xiaomi 14 Ultra now for several months, beside my iPhome 14 Pro Max. Photo quality is good but not better then the iPhone. The photography kit is excellent. Low light photo’s and video is better on the iPhone. Battery life (both main battery and photography kit battery) are mich worse then the iPhone. The battery drains in one day when not used and in battery save mode. Overall I stay with my iPhone.

I bought this phone and unfortunately it has a lot of things you don't know beforehand: 1) impossible to take photos at 50 mpx by default! You have to go to the photo menu every time, and in the "plus" tab choose 50 mpx. It's just nonsense! 2) You can't use the zoom lever on the professional kit if you choose the 'raw' photo format. This is really very disappointing for a camera of this price that claims to be "professional"!

Not quite camera yet. The variable aperture is definitely a big step forward towards that, but capping out at f4 on the small end is pretty bad, I would want it to reach f8 at the very least!

Another good review from technick . Looking at the phone like elone mask is going to send it to outa space. Everything is allready on the phone plus minus its hard to detect something thats not ok with this machine .But in every month that comes new phones will arise like good and bad. Hello, does the Xiaomi 14 Ultra Global version you tested have a 5300mAh battery? I ask this question because mine has a 5300mAh battery. And let me be clear, it's a Global version. While at the presentation of the official Xiaomi Global version, it was announced that the battery was 5000mAh for the Global version even on their official website it's 5000mAh. The Telephoto seriously need an improvement especially when recording video. When Nick faced down to put his glasses on his shirt the color balance is so off that the background turn so bright + Nick got brighten up a bit and when he faced back to the len the autofocus regconized him and the color is normal again not only that when switching between lenses the Telephoto is the worst when it comes to color + quality. Also, the HDR from the selfie camera when recording is...bad 😅
