That is what I was thinking, when they scored Honor Magic 6 Pro in DXOmark. That phone is even weaker than Xiaomi 14 Ultra, so definitely Honor paid for the greater scores - which is sad, because people from DXOmark should be independent of anything, but they are not.

bro how!? You're comparing a fixed aperture 1 inch main lens and a 1/1.4" zoom lens with an APS-C lens dslr. Makes no sense. I love Vivo but ain't no way they gonna beat proper cameras. We need a variable aperture on the next Vivo phone at the very least, I thought this Ultra would've had it, quite disappointing due to that. Oh and btw I have a question. Do you think, after zooming in from 3.7x, the X100 Ultra uses digital cropping or in-sensor cropping? That's been one of my concerns, I believe they only do in-sensor cropping for the 10x. I'm gonna buy the next Vivo Ultra/Pro phone if it has a variable aperture, only thing that's missing from the "Thanos" phone.

Those night photos from Honor is almost in par with Vivo’s! But overall Vivo takes the lead. The problem is just the stabilisation of front cam video.

Bro, your samsung phone have dirty lenses. There is alot of other youtube videos, and they doesn`t have that white flare(or fog) like you do in your video. Tho, thanks for content! Vivo looks nice, tho really painted sometimes.

No. The photos are actually like that. The Samsung photos have REALLY low contrast and they pull up shadows and pull down shadows A LOT. This creates a hazy look.

Vivo completely demolished others in photography. While in video its damn good too, the negative part was poor stabilisation in front cam and mic. Awesome video again. I appreciate your efforts from India.

VIvo should focus on providing more control like sharpness sliders and stuff for photos and videos (cus they oversharpen a lot of the times) and focus on video now. They have damn near perfected their form of photography which is the stylized and exaggerated look. Huawei and Honor go too far with this look, I prefer Vivo. They're a nice middle ground between natural and too processed.

what problems? i had x90 pro+ and now x100 ultra never had issues with focus with any of the cams, the telephoto is the best by far and the only one usable in low light and good stabilization

@@adyady3099 it's not necessarily something you can tell just by owning it but when compared side by side with x100 pro for example you can tell there's some software adjustments they could make because that whole new active stabilization system is really good.

@@DrDerpington i don't see why you would need a secondary phone, it either focus on the subject straight away or isnt and is working good for me, i had phones where they were keep hunting to focus but my x100 ultra has none of these problems. What i noticed is poor microhpone quality compared to a samsung, is sounds like an old radio on quality speakers with no bass and noticable lens flare like it wouldn't have that zeiss coating, my older x90 pro+ handled lens flare from street lights at night better.

The only problems I see in Vivo is that red face (not only in this comparison) and daylight video stabilization. But only daylight - in lowlight conditions it's clearly better than of 24 and Honor. Samsung has the best daylight stabilization and sound recording.

This video should be viewed in comparison to Sami's previous 3-phone comparable. In both videos, the German photo branding has better handling of the backlights and glare handling. As noted by comments here by others, the very high DXO mark ranking of the Honor brand seems undeserved. The Samsung has been deprived or advantaged by features, compared to the China-made devices. As usual, further software updates will improve, generally, the comparative results. The biggest improvements, as usual, will be with the most recently released device.

vivo is the clear winner but what happened to zeiss coating ? the lens flare look worse than samsung and on pro model and x90 pro+ they handled it better. Also i don't like the microphone of vivo, i'm watching with big speakers and it sounds like radio, no bass at all

I tested front camera photos with s24 ultra and vivo has more details in low light and a wider angle which also contributes to better face unlock so i'm not planning to take any vlogs while running anytime soon. Telephoto stabilization is much more important which is the best i've seen, last night i did some shoots with my friends s24 ultra and his photo while leaning stable on his car was shakier than my hand held zoom photo because of worst stabilization and longer exposure time of those tiny sensors , that's what i care about ;)

To answer your question: I am not a pro vlogger, but people will still use front cam for social media purpose right? And why are you so triggered, are you engineer of Vivo camera? Стабилизация в видео у самсы лучше в 100 раз, чем у виво. Особенно на фронталке. Видео у фронталки виво прям совсем дерьмо. + У данного обзорщика что-то странное с его самсой. Во всех фото и видео какой-то белый туман, дымка. Хотя у всех остальных подобного нет. То ли стекло грязное, то ли в целом сенсоры неисправны. Хз. Но факт есть факт.

In low light, vivo brightens too much the scene. Honor more natural, retain better highlights and shadows. Vivo too bright sky, honor dark sky. Bright doesn't mean better. And vivo zoom start at 85mm focal length while honor start at 62mm. The results at digital zoom are so close, so great job honor.

Vivo X100 Ultra is obviously the best camera phone 2024 by now. Samsung S24 Ultra is doing pretty good job as well. Honor Magic 6 Pro is just pathetic - the most disappointing thing is the periscope with 180MP, so weak...SO WEAK!
