I know this reply is kinda late… 😂 but in interior design sometimes you add rugs to ground and section off a space. So even if it’s over carpet, the rug can still work and solidify that. I’ve seen it done a lot. It really helps if you are renting an apartment that has that gross rental carpet. Can personalize the space more if you can’t paint as well.

You should do every room is a different room challenge. Basically the idea is that you create a floor plan for a house, and then you spin a wheel to decide what room that room is supposed to be. So like, if you had an entry hall and you spun bedroom, you would somehow have to make that room the bedroom. An extra challenge if you want it, add a unique room to the wheel, such as movie theater or storage room or something.

You know what's good about these challenges? They force you to use new objects that you don't normally use...I even found my self using your challenges for my self because I find that I use repeat items in more than 1 room and house. So the color challenge helps me use new items! Also..just because you use it in a color challenge dosent mean that you can't use it in a normal color after...if you like it, then use it for a different build! Luvs!
