Vixen Horns Duo “Dual Tone” - Outdoor Decibel Test

Part of a new experiment series I’ll be doing this summer. I took my 2 Vixen Horns VXS sirens & tested the decibels from approx. 50 feet away.
I will say it would be much louder if I had these 2 sirens up mounted on a pole.
Family that lives in downtown stated they could hear the siren test, and they live well over 2 miles away as the crow flies! Impressive!

*Edit* No it’s not quite like the MS-790 for a couple reasons. One being the 790 runs off 220 volts, while the 1488 runs off 110. Two is the 790 doesn’t have as high of an RPM as my 1488. The only similarity between the two is the 790 & the 1488 are the same size.

@@TheCamWheel The VXS-2245, VXS-1488 & 790 are all the same size. Only differences is the 790 & 2245 run off 220v. The 1488 runs off 110v. And the 1488 is louder than the 790 (at least the ones I had).
