Here's an explanation of VIXX Amnesia comeback: This time's comeback is called 'CONTINUUM' as if they're saying they're continuing their VIXX careers despite what happened and they'll keep making comebacks henceforth as 4vixx. This comeback is referencing VIXX's past music videos, missing members and 'Amnesia' talks about how they want to live in the past memories and continue as VIXX, as if they're choosing to have amnesia about all the mess that happened with the members. The narration in the trailer of the MV references many past VIXX videos: "When life is possessed (VOODOO DOLL MV) by fear, Sensations (Scentist mv) and Memories (Eternity Mv) scatter like sand in the wind. Past wounds are buried deep in the abyss, and we live on in glittering fantasies. (FANTASY MV, HADES) Up until someone breaks down this fortress (CHAINED UP), We will desert this fragmented reality into oblivion, and remain isolated in eternal dreams. (ETERNITY)" You can also see a lot of references to past mvs made in the mv of Amnesia itself: 1. Hyuk's red outfit when he sits on the chair and the whole set up is just like Ravi's scene in fantasy. 2. Leo when he's chained up is like the scene of Hongbin in Chained up mv. 3. Leo drowning is the same as Chained up. 4. Ken is searching for the heart which is the same heart that belonged to Hongbin in the Error mv. 5.The silhouette Ken is looking at is just like Ravi's in the Chained up mv. 6. Leo and the girl's clip is referencing the part in Hyde mv. 7. They even shot the MV in the same place as their PARALLEL mv. There's definitely a lot more but I'm probably missing out. There were a lot of references just to Hongbin and Ravi in the MV so I feel like Amnesia is related to the missing members and about VIXX's career that they're going to continue. Even their album names are called PIEC_E and WHO_LE. If you place this age wise from oldest to youngest, the missing spaces stand for Hongbin and Ravi exactly in the order that they left the group. Note that, Hyuk started his own directing & production company called Ad.a who took care of the MV, styling, photoshoots and everything. Jellyfish didn't do shit. I'm so happy Hyuk, the maknae did all of this with the VIXX members and brought VIXX back. There's definitely another concept going on there in the mv where each of them seem to have Amnesia and have to find their own solution to it or something and Leo may have something to do with the girl. Some people say the girl could represent Starlights/their fandom. Even though there can be another concept going on, it's clear that they're mainly talking about VIXX, the missing members and about their career from here on. They want to continue as if nothing ever went wrong in VIXX. (That's why they said they're having amnesia in the lyrics as well.) This time's comeback was so heavily focused on past MV references that I understand why most non-vixx stans or fans that were away from vixx for a long time didn't understand the concept. I hope y'all read this and understand it a little better!!

@@SamGVL08 Well, two members have left the group. Ravi and Hongbin. Ravi, due to controversy surrounding his enlistment to the military and Hongbin due to controversy surrounding a livestream he did at one point. That's just the simplified explanation. N is still a member but he was unable to participate in this comeback because of a drama he is currently filming. His schedule did not align so it is just the three members for now.

I've been listening to kpop for almost 20 years now and I'm generally a girl group listener. But Vixx are a gem, their concepts/music is never boring. I love that all the members have different vocal tones. Leo's is light, Ken's is soulful and Hyuk's is deep. Missing N's melancholic voice but hopefully next comeback.

Ravi was also involved in a controversy for delaying his military service/getting lighter duty and voluntarily left to not bring down the group. N is still in the group, but hasn't been promoting with them lately. He is busy with his acting career.

Chiming in as well: I'd heard of VIXX now and then, but got to put a face to the name thru N's acting too (cameo in Tomorrow)! Then I explored VIXX's music when Leo, Ken and Hyuk made my jaw drop performing Shangri-La, Chained Up, and Voodoo Doll in early 2023. They've definitely left behind a legacy music-wise to me that I can still explore and I'm happy to see the new stuff that members put out! (LOVE Hyuk's song "way to you", and had fun watching Joseon Attorney bc Im a sucker for historical kdramas)

I adore each and every one of them, all 6 of those men have such a special place in my heart.. with N being my very first Ult (still holds the title but shares with two others now after all these years), it hurts so badly to not see him and the others here too. It’s so bittersweet 😭 I am still hoping that someday, somehow, 6VIXX will come back together as one. Even if it’s only for anniversary lives, I don’t care.. it’s a hopeless dream but I’m holding tight to my delusion. I’ve been a starlight for nearly 8 years so it’s incredibly hard to let go of the WHOLE group who cemented me into the kpop world.. I miss them as they were but will support them as they are, and as they will be. I will be a starlight until the very end ✨
