Cubism is an art style that tries to destroy forms into geometrical shapes and it was developed due to the need to find the 'aesthetic' or the inner vision while still maintaining elements of reality Surrealism is an art style inspired by Froid's psychology, so it tries to dive into the unconscious thoughts and visions (I just took a modern art history course last semester so I had to use the new information lmaooo)

Your typical pop art is made through screen printing. It uses a tray with a screen with holes so small it feels like a sheet of plastic. Layer by layer, the screen printing paints are spread across with a rubber thing and through a template to the other side. As these are done through layers of templates, the colours used are fairly limited as to make the process quicker and easier. Additionally, this is also why the shading looks so thick, because it needs to be in order for the colour to properly seep through. Paints were typically not mixed together to make a new colour. I recommend looking up a tutorial and giving the proper thing a try, it’s really fun and satisfying.
