Wow... rendering is taking a lot of time in producing material in the industrial design process. This can cut 95% of the time you spend on this while keeping true to the design intent. Brilliant... but even better can also use this to help generate ideas and get into 3D models. A total game changer. I was so frustrated with AI tools that I tried before. This is going into the right direction. Now, this is a demo. Hope that thing works as well with any design I want to do.

When you erase parts of a layer to reveal the layer underneath, can it be done non-destructively? Like using a mask instead of just erasing. (In case you want to restore some elements.) Thanks.

Yes, there are some ways to do it non-destructively. For example, If you draw on a new layer a visual separation color, you can also select that part and generate on that. (Also you can duplicate the original rendering to have it intact, but at any time you can add back the original rendering from the history tab, that's why it's not a problem if you do it in a seemingly destructive way.)

If I use a copyright image to generate another image on vizcom keep generating and making some changes and sell it as a digital painting will it be a copyright issue even though the copyright image will look completely different from final image? I plan to sell the final version as a digital painting.

It's up to the judge in the copyright infringement trial. not kidding. the software company can't give you any assurance in this regard.

It could cange a lot for students, they will propably run with this for making their homework. But for Portfolio i cant see it. Noboby want a guy who just point an klick and using literally shortcuts. But maybe this will change also in few years.😅 At all a cool walktrough to come for a result in the first meetings. 😊

can these renderings be exported to a 3D printer?

Hi, 3D models can be exported,( clicking on the layer - > export 3D model setting) in .stl amongst others format. So after slicing, you could 3D print these models.

You keep saying I can use a shift key to add to selection. I am using iPad and iPen. There is no shift key anywhere! How do I add to a selection on a iPad? I asked this question in multiple places on Discord and nobody answered that.

This is a great tool as long as you want to "design" cars, shoes or absurd architectural concepts. When you want to generate something more specific AI tools quickly become pretty useless.
