Yup! Looks like a backlight failure for me...thank you so much for including that bit of info: i checked 4 different other resources first, including Vizio Support, and none of them mentioned that possibility. Good show, Chap!

My Vizio exhibits the symptoms consistent with a back light problem (i see the feint light responding) however if I turn it off, wait several seconds and turn it back on it works perfectly, this has been happening for about a month now. I'm wondering if this would help pinpoint the issue....?

The unplug/replug worked for me, just wondering how often I'll have to do this, i've done it twice now. Thanks for making this.

I had the same problem, that solution worked for a few months but this morning it won’t work. The power light just keeps blinking on & off. I tried everything 🤷‍♂️

Update: It worked until it didn't work. Sometimes it took 3 attempts, sometimes 7, and then near the end it worked on the first attempt. But ultimately I swapped the flatscreen, it lasted 10 years so there's that.

From my research and testing it seems like it's a power supply issue on the logic board either bad caps or bad soder joints.

Unplugging it worked for me for about a week now it won’t turn on at all

Sounds like a component failure - you can check with a multimeter.

Same here, the power light keeps blinking on & off. It would work when I unplugged it & plugged it back in but this morning it won’t turn on. I’ve only had this tv since late June 2023😢 Summer one said I might have to order a new power board 🤦‍♂️🤷‍♂️
