I just thought of something. Old Man Zangetsu in the fight against Yhwach probably lowered Ichigos strength because he knew Ichigo would lose even if he went full blast against him. White at this point might have realized that allowing Ichigos zanpakuto to break would probably result in Ichigo understanding that he was part Quincy. He probably knew that Ichigo would go through rigorous training that would make him powerful enough to be a legitimate threat to Yhwach.

@@jocoolshow for a couple of reasons: 1: Yhwach personally chose Stern Ritter Y because his powers let him copy the powers and memory of anyone almost completely except for their personal Quincy Schrift like 'the Almighty'. Basically Stern Ritter Y had like 80% of Yhwach's powers. 2: Yamamoto was going 100% not because he was struggling in the fight but because he wanted to make sure Yhwach was demoralized by Yamamoto's Bankai power and to make sure Yhwach died completely. Yamamoto even stated that to the fake Yhwach before saying Bankai because remember last time Yhwach came back to life after the first invasion 1000years ago. 3: Any of the Stern Ritters can become Yhwach's elite Quincy if they have the power that benefits Yhwach, just like Askin was chosen to become one of Yhwach's elite Quincy at the end of cour 2. 4: Lastly as soon as the real Yhwach showed up after Yamamoto won his fight, Yhwach stole Yamamoto's Bankai because he knew he wasn't going to win the fight fairly, so again having a fair fight against Yamamoto is a death sentence.💀 Also Yamamoto's Bankai is literally as hot as the sun that's why he never used it during the Arrancar saga because he would have probably killed half the earths human population on activation cause unlike Soul Reapers who can manipulate reishi as a shield normal humans would literally be cooked if not just turn to dust. Sorry if I over explained but BLEACH is all about match ups since there are a lot of crazy hacks, powers and genius characters in one show.

My favorite part about Yhwach is that he and his army show what religion can be at its worst. Don't give me that 'he has a sympathetic motivation' BS. It’s the same ability Yhwach used in the first clip of the video, he can use telekinesis to make people’s limbs explode or slice them. Against Ichibei, he picked a future where he would use that ability on Ichibei (which we saw in the color drained scene of Ichibei dying, representing the future) and then we see that exact future become the present when Ichibei dies in color
