Another fine instalment and helpful to see the interaction between AE and Resolume. Thanks!

Quick footnote...for the IR OSCSA plugins to work you need to make sure OSC Input Incoming Port in preferences is set to 7000....
@oliviereijpe9 жыл бұрын
Works great. Make sure that you enable OSC in your main prefs. I used Photoshop to create shapes, After effects to place and export them to DXV.

Love the videos man, I've got a huge love for the EDM culture and currently going to school for graphic design, really thinking about switching to animation though. Gunna get a projector soon and try it out. Theres not much like this in this town where im going to college, feels like i might bring some fun out here. Hope to see more videos. Keep up the good work. -inspired student.

Cheers Brreck. I think studying graphic design or animation will both help you out in different ways. I just picked up how to animate by watching tutorials on line. Definitely get a projector as soon as you can, this stuff is so much more fun when you can play about and experiment in your own time.

Yeah no doubt, I wait to get started, Just wanna go around town and start projecting some cool shoes.

Hey Tom, could you show a tutorial how these glowing lines on the cube edges are made like in this video? Epic light show at home That would be great!

nice tutorial man. i'm planning to do a 2d animation (kind of a lyric video, mixed with motion graphics, and sound waves reacting to the music) proyected into a person sitting in a chair. im thinking in filming a guide-video of my guy sitting in the chair, and then use that as a reference (masking his body shape in after effects) and do all the animations there, inside the mask. then i would use resolume to project the animation are this steps correct ? thanks a lot

Hi vjfit, thanks for your great tutorial. I do have a problem with the plugin. I downloaded and copied the files. I also do get a signal from my mic, but the playhead is not connected to the transport. Also there is no "'reacting"' under the IR OSCSA 4 effect in my Resolume. Any ideas?
@vjfit9 жыл бұрын
+Christoph Berz Hi Chris, "reacting" is just a pre-set that I saved so no, you shouldn't have that one in there. I'd just triple check you've got all the code right, if you don't have all the forward slashes in the right right place it won't work. Have you followed all of the steps here? kzbin.info/www/bejne/rpPKmXWGhqygqLs

at around 7:05 can't you just change the timeline in the upper right corner to something else? (the audio reacting one)
@vjfit10 жыл бұрын
I don't think so, I think that just makes the clips loop last the same amount of time as the BPM you input.

Hi Vjfit, this was an amazing tutorial however i couldn't get the audio reaction to work even though the run function did link with the playhead. After i clicked to have audio pfft external nothing happened. Any ideas??

Nathan Johnson Hey Nat. Uh Nur! I do sometimes find getting Resolume to recognise my webcam mic a but tricky. Are you getting a signal coming in at all [red circle]? i.imgur.com/cB99Rvr.png If not have a play with the audio preferences [blue circle]. Does this technique work OK for you? kzbin.info/www/bejne/fpnClmtqarSCqcU

thanks for your great tutorial..how did you do to turn the cubes on 180°?
@vjfit8 жыл бұрын
+Donato Hey Donato. The spinning cubes are made in Cinema 4D. I do a VERY basic version or something similar in my mapping tutorials #2 and #3. Learning C4D can take a while, have a look at Greyscale Gorilla and Rate My Funeral to get started.

+vjfit Thank you very much..but, there are construction already prepared?
@vjfit8 жыл бұрын
+Donato I built them myself. Start with a simple cube with just a texture on it, then you can get more complicated as you get better as using Cinema.

Quick question, what material is the "castle" made out of?
@vjfit8 жыл бұрын
Hey Doc, They are just white cardboard boxes. A local packaging company owed me a favour so I had those custom made. Best of luck. X
