overall i would call it a buff.. people ignore its huge increase in hitpoints... it has pretty much same mobility like t34-85m but 50% more hitpoints than these meds, for me its nr 1 tournament/ skirmish tank..

agree. it was way better as a Medium. Faster, actual Camo value, it can turn easier, and a monster ramming machine. But Russian devs before moving the development to EU back then be like, "WE CAN'T LET IT RAM OUR OP T-34-85M!! NERF IT TO HT!!"

I like this tank. I one marked it in the amount of time Skill could 3 mark it twice. The gun is pretty reliable, the armor is not bad, and it lets you get by with being a tourist now and then. It's my favorite Tier 6 heavy.

One of the few tanks that was actually fun in that tier. It had balanced speed, good at ramming, good dpm and alpha but low pen. Trollish armor. But nah, WG wants us playing the same old paper armor 135dmg pellet gun medium with 0 unique traits. Fun is not allowed.

I played this tank so long ago it has couple of Sniper medals (not Tank Sniper, just Sniper). It was really good medium and seems to be nice heavy too.

They ruined it when they changed it to a heavy. It was my favorite T6 in the game. Fast, with great gun, and could bounce some shells, especially with the turret

I realy miss times when this tank was medium before HP buff to lower tier tanks. It was one of my fav tanks, they ruined it when they changed it to be a heavy. And there is no reason to play this tank over M6

This tank is one of my comfort picks and its my absolute favourite. I also use optics for open field and/or lv8 matchups. The max viewrange often comes handy.

the tank is decent and quiete mobil for a heavy, the reason its not so popular is the VK36 is just another beast in the german tech tree

I just had a round in the KV-2 where I ammoracked a sidescraping VK 30.01P through the first track wheel full HP and got over 2800 damage and my second Gunmark. On to the third Gunmark! 😂❤

I like this tank because it's like E50M on tier 6. If matchmaking is good you can go Infront ram some kurvas and show them your big DPM

@@michalstar Its not always possible do that specially when you want rush someone or fighting on town areas. And ewery German tank have this then i found T-34-85M is much better tank.
