Jeez there's some haters on here. The guy got a crappy Australian car with a great Japanese engine, probably built the thing in his shed at home on a shoestring budget, and went racing. Massive props for that. At least he's having a go. With racing it's the mistakes you make and learn from that make you a better driver, builder, and racer. Keep it up dude.

I love cars like this. Nothing really to look at but all the good stuff is under the bonnet. Looks to me like this is a work in progress so don't slate it for the bits that still need doing. In any case, the car is leaning like that because of the huge torque the engine has, the soft suspension and the big tyres. If the owner was to give it a stiffer setup then the engine would be able to transfer more power through the wheels instead of wasting it through moving the suspension. Nice runs.

You have to give credit when it's due. At least he's having a go unlike many people i know who are too scared that the mythical power and times they have talked up to their mates will be found to be a lie. But really, that car shouldn't be allowed on the track. It sits crooked, it doesn't track straight, and worst of all, it's mechanically weak. Have to be positive though, a few weekends and the right parts and it could be a really nice street car. 2 more cylinders might help too.

Lets break this down and look at what happened. Run 1: Bouncing off the rev limiter during the burnout=torture on that engine. A hard pop on the start=I wouldn't have taken it down the track after that for fear of transmission issues. Run 2: If you can't burnout in a straight line, don't even bother showing up. And MORE bouncing off the limiter. Take two and you're leaking fluids? Thats a day stopper right there. Take three....can you say tweaked frame? (cont.)
