Cypress Hill changed my life. They were the first mainstream hiphop crew to really push a harder, darker style, yet still came with the fun and the herb. I bought one of their shirts in 92' when I was 16. It didn't just have a pot leaf on it, but it had a demented skull with a whole afro full of pot leaves. I was one of the only dudes where I'm from who was rocking and smoking that type of shit. Then they kept blowing the fuck up and within a year I was seeing pot leaves on everything. They helped me gain a deep philosophical understanding of the sacred herb way beyond what I was taught to think it was. Big up to Cypress Hill and everybody involved in the Soul Assassins family. You guys are still a staple in my music collection and you'll always remain one of the g.o.a.t. True Legends. Stoned Is The Way Of The Walk... Peace
