In this clip, DJ Akademiks explained that he was mad that Kanye claiming that Ak is being controlled by “the man,” which he stated is so absurd. From there, Vlad pointed out that Dame Dash, who is responsible for signing Kanye to Roc-A-Fella, saying that he’s not surprised at Kanye’s recent outbursts. Speaking more about Dame, DJ Akademiks stated that he understands why Dame gets annoyed at people only wanting to talk about Roc-A-Fella with him. Vlad then asked what Dame has done since the label broke up, and Vlad explained that all of his career highlights were done with the label.
