The Chanson singer and actor Vladimir Korneev sings the Russian folk song "Kalinka" by Ivan Larijonov. Korneev is accompanied by the WDR Funkhaus Orchester.
The Song was written by the French composer Legrand under the title "The Windmills of Your Mind" in 1968. The English text was written by Alan and Marilyn Bergman, the French version as "Les Moulins de Mon Coeur" by Eddy Marnay.
Vladimir Korneev came to Germany at the age of 7 years as a refugee. In his very musical georgian-russian family, he grew up with Russian songs and folklore. Korneev grew up in Augsburg where he graduated in 2007 at the Music School at St. Stephan. From 2008 to 2012, he studied at the Bavarian Theater Academy August Everding in Munich in singing and acting.
