@FosterMinotaur25 жыл бұрын

@americanzombie18025 жыл бұрын
FosterMinotaur2 except the writers of the Sopranos were inspired by Frank Costello, a real mob boss, who seen a psychiatrist. Also, in the sopranos, Tony tried keeping it a secret because he knew he would be wacked had anyone found out. When the mob found out, a hit was placed on him and his psychiatrist had to go into hiding. Tony then had to kill off the entire opposing crew and take power with his loyalists.
@TheCaWaLa5 жыл бұрын
CauseItsReal right! And the show takes place in a much later part of the mob’s history. He was just barely able to get away with it, over time
@americanzombie18025 жыл бұрын
John Lydon yeah, back in the old days. But the Sopranos is based on a time of transition in the mob. The softening almost hipster era. Which is why Tony nearly got clipped, but was able to barely survive at least for a time. And In this interview he’s trying to say the sopranos isn’t realistic because of the psychiatrist angle. I wonder if he ever actually seen the show.. I mean today the mob hardly kills anyone anymore. Look at Franzese , he’s still alive and breathing, but had he tried this in the 1970’s for example, he too would’ve ended up in the back of the trunk.
