All I'm sayin is every video I've watched of him, he says what all these dickriding fans don't have the balls to say. And he's right. It's just a bunch of dickriders and cry babies. Life's hard, but real men get their tears out, get over it, NEVER whine, & keep moving.

Drake is more of an introspective rapper, and I respect that. Eminem shares similar a style, some people take his reflective lyrics as overemotional or sappy (for lack of a better word). However, Eminem can and has focused on just killing songs lyrically. Drake can too but sometimes he leans on those "Hold On" "Marvin's Room" and "Trust Issues" a little too much.

I think CTG has respect for Drake as a rapper and an artist, but he doesn't care for Drakes personal tendencies. CTG has said more than once, on video, that he thinks Drake is a great rapper, that Drake makes good music, and, when Drake wants to, he can go as hard on a verse as anybody else. CTG just has opinions on the way Drake acts sometimes. I don't think he's a hater for that.

Bottom line here is Charlamagne is WAY too emotionally invested in drake. Like seriously, this shit between him and drake HAS to be personal. If anybody here listens to the Breakfast Club, nearly every time Angela Yee mention's drake's name, cthagod always has something negative to say, Calling him a "female rapper", "pretty albino girl" etc. I'm not gon lie tho, when he first started saying it it was a kinda funny, but now it's gotten annoying cuz he talks shit ALL THE TIME. Some of the things he says about drake is completely true, but there are other times when he just comes off as a hater, like damn, for once can you just let the man live? The reason why vlad keeps asking him about drake is because charlamagne is guaranteed to say something negative as we all know, negative shit always gets more views. There are rappers who are way worse than drake, but cthagod doesn't talk about any of them nearly as much as he talks about drake on the breakfast club. And for what anyways? Cuz he sings? Yeah like he wasn't doing that shit since "best i ever had" which was like one of his 1st singles, if not before then. "Drake's too sensitive", yeah I agree, but I could care less about his personal life as long as I like his music. Don't get me wrong tho, drake isn't my favorite rapper either but it's one thing to not like him, it's another thing entirely to just talk shit EVERY time you hear his name, especially when something good happens to him. There's a limit to how much you should care about someone you don't even like. Smh I like cthagod just as much as the next guy does but this shit is gettin pathetic...

Charlamange does these videos/rants for the same reason Skip Bayless tortured LeBron and T.O., the same reason late night show hosts diss the competing networks and the same reason comedians destroy celebs in stand-ups. It's compelling entertainment. The diss is an art, and the easiest way to grab an audience's attention. When it comes to celebs, you rarely go at the low-hanging fruit. Any opportunity to crack on a polarizing figure like Drake increases your likelihood to be heard and/or seen, as you stated. So why are you lost? (Btw, Charlamagne always says Drake is Top 5 "when he raps". He's plenty fair in his Drake criticism.)
@Jon155mt
@Jon155mt 11 жыл бұрын
PropheSAY Lol I'm not lost at all. I understand why he does it, but it's the simple fact that charlamagne does it 24/7. that it's starting to get old and tiresome. The ppl who listen to the breakfast club and not just these vlad interviews would know what I'm talking about. Do you ever see a comedian diss the same celeb over and over in every one of their stand ups, no matter how right they may be? No... Why? Because it's like beating a dead horse. But the only person charlamagne talks shit about more than drake is probably kanye, but the difference there is that kanye is always saying something crazy to cause charlamagne's slander, but drake doesn't. Drake just does his own thing, which is why my point is whatever issue charlamagne has with drake has got to be personal. However, I would like to see them talk it out in a breakfast club interview but I highly doubt that will ever happen.

Man what the heck. Charlamagne is so real and articulate and intelligent. Sure, he calls people out, but I wouldn't call him a, "bully." Comedians do what he does all the time. He belongs on Opie and Jim Norton. He's in the vain of Chris Rock, Richard Pryor, Louis C.K., Dave Chappelle, etc. He's just seeing the truth from his unique perspective and expressing it. To me, the realest thing a person can do is address what people do directly, because it takes guts and confidence, and really... OBJECTIVELY... When is Charlamagne WRONG? I'm not saying like, when do YOU disagree with his opinion, but when does he ever fail to justify his opinions logically and sufficiently? I'm shocked that everyone reacts so negatively to such a smart guy, he's one of the most honest people out there.

You know honestly, some of us are simply strong in the heart. thats drakes own fault if he never took the time to become dtrong minded. some people do hide their emotions but learn that there are people who see life differently, been through shit that made u feel differently about alot of things. its another way of thinking. its not trying to be a "rock". i dont have to be a little bitch about things to have a big heart and love the people in my life. i love everything and life. but drake takes it to a level that i feel sorry for people that take everything so heavy. just live life! talk about the good side of life instead of heart aches and sensitive type of things. God wants us to smile and be happy. not dwell on sad emotional things!

People: Charlamagne talks about Drake because Drake is one of the biggest recording artists in the game right now. Really it has nothing to do with his persona but I just don't think his music is that great, I've tried about 4-5 times. And are there actually people saying hes better than kendrick? What the actual fuck, Kendrick is the best since Kanye and Em, gtfo with that drake shit.

Same here. I've tried listening to all his albums and it's just way too sappy. Some pretty good instrumentals and a couple of beautiful RNB tracks, but most of the songs just make me throw up in my mouth a little. Most of the rapping is lackluster, with a couple of good verses here and there, but most of his albums is just boring RNB with some very mediocre singing voices. Sometimes he just comes across as a bitter, manipulative dick honestly.

Its clear that CTG has a fetish for Drake... The guy is ALWAYS talking about Drake or ALWAYS has some criticism towards Drake... How can he say that Drake should just "Let it slide" for a person to criticize your album... Especially when it is YOUR concert tour and you're giving said artist their opportunity... He made references to many quotes... Well I have one more for you CTG... "DON'T BITE THE HAND THAT FEEDS YOU"... Guarantee that if ANY other artist did the same thing Char would be saying that they had every right to kick the person of their concert and also that the ousted artist was a fool for speaking ill of that persons album... In fact I am almost positive that the artist who was kicked off the tour would be CTG's next "Donkey of the Day"... Kind of getting tired of CTG's antics.

Come on now what shit in his RAPs are meaningful? To be a leader of hiphop u got to rap way more than just about having tons of money and thats why nas biggie and tupac were great they rapped real life situations that are real, tupac exposed the government curruption so the the people in hard times can see what they are doing and felt that all tho they never met tupac he had their back
