Back in 2006, DJ Vlad caught up with Gucci Mane at his home, and the rapper shared various tidbits of information, including how his name was passed down from his grandfather, who was Big Gucci. He went on to speak about excelling at school because he knew he wanted to be a poet, and Gucci advised other aspiring artists to do the same.
