I guess it depends on what state you do time. I came out prison about same time as China Mac but I did time in Alabama in more than one prison but did most of my time in one that has been one of the most dangerous in United States. Some of the things I hear them talk about I can relate of what they claim goes on in prison but some I can't. One thing is them talking about the mixing of bowel and urine to throw on different people. I have seen talked about in different states but I can honestly say I never seen when I was in prison. That is a sure fire way to get killed not only by another inmate but you pull that stunt on a CO I can honestly say you wouldn't last long. It's all about respect in prison in South not only inmate to inmate but you also better show respect to staff as well. That is a whole different affiliation you have to worry about. Usually you already know they clicked up with other COs but not only that but most is affiliated with some organization that you find in prison so then you have to worry about that factor as well. I just chimed in because the things I hear about prison especially out west but up North as well is different. Most people ride in a car with their race but it's not mandatory. The politics is just different. I will say it keeps you on your toes especially if you do any amount of time. I understand how people become institutionalized. It took me a minute to get my mind right once I hit street. To this day I still continue doing certain things that I started while in prison the way I live which certain people if incarcerated would know or notice but the average person will think is nuts. The amount of disrespect that people on or in the free world is unreal and if people only knew they would think twice. I have to catch myself everyday with people even today. I understand how people think that certain things that read about that happens on street sounds crazy but to be honest I think to myself they probably put themselves in that position but they didn't understand they ran across a dude who lives by that code. So my advice to free world people please think about the simple things like EXCUSE ME goes a long way. Stop being such an ass everyday and you will keep yourself out of a bad situation one day.
