Part 1: • Tray Deee on Bad Azz D...
----------
Tray Deee opened up to VladTV about the stigma of a felony following people around for life. He explained that there are many setbacks associated with being a felon, which Tray Deee calls a forever punishment. He went on to explain how felons can now vote in California, but he also touched on the other things that they're prevented from doing which you can hear more about above.

This is a problem that, in my opinion, has been made worse over the last decade by private companies who collect and sell your information. I was convicted of a felony (bad check over $500) 20 years ago when I was 19. It wasnt a big problem until I was in my 30s and every potential employer now required me to submit to background/credit checks which are pushed hard by the companies that sell them. I have a graduate degree and no other criminal history but was unable to get hired at even McDonald's. Because of that I started my own business and luckily it has been a success, but for those without my resources it is a losing battle that they cant win. We need tougher privacy laws in the US.

I agree. If you serve your time in prison you shouldn't be considered a felon. However to balance that I think you should be able make a deal to do less time but the felony will stay on you record for a bit and eventually come off if you dont get into trouble. Prison is supposed to be for rehabilitation not just punishment.

Patsy Sadowski nope. Even Delaware, Wyoming etc have agents that have their name on the paper work and serve as the face and name of the corporation. I own and drive a car owned by a non profit corporation and my name is nowhere on it, except for the agreement between myself and the agent, at my house and at the agents office (law firm). The society is registered to the agent, and the agent is the listed director. LLC is the same, but they are for profit, whereas my society is a charity.

The reason it's confusing is because it is not just. You don't owe some vague, meaningless term like society. You owe the victim. Tort law would be more just. But none of that has to do with people dealing with you. If someone doesn't want to exchange with you for any reason, then forcing them to exchange with you is unjust in itself

If you think about it they can’t change this because it has to be public record if you’re in prison and what for so people will always know what’s on your record

I have 3 felonies and was able to rent in a mobile home community and then a duplex in a residential neighborhood. It all depends on the state and where you're at. And If you got money, nobody can stop you from purchasing land and building yourself a house on it. Fuck an HOA.

And its a catch 22. You can't rent in specific areas which limits them to areas where only ex-cons can live but get penalized for associating with ex-felons because its the only place that will accept them.
