----------
In this clip, TC Carson opened up about being the spokesperson of his "Living Single" cast who would speak to the producers about the actors' issues while filming the show. During the next to last season, TC explained that he felt like he was about to be fired when his character was moving to London. He was assured that he wasn't being fired, but after the episode aired, TC revealed that he got the news. TC then stated that the show wasn't the same, and it ended after the following season. To hear more, including TC speaking about royalties from the show, hit the above clip.

Bro's character was an intelligent, confident, conscious, gainfully employed, loyal friend. Guess that was too good of a depiction of a black male for TV.

I appreciate this character so much now. This was the 1st articulate, stylish straight black male with taste and class I had ever seen on television. At that time I believe he was the only. @Attila Steele this is well said. A man can be raised a man without a father in the home - any man who lost his father at a young age can show you this. However, what cannot happen is a man being raised to be a man by a woman who rejects all masculine, manly influence on the child's life. It takes a village and these feminists have effectively killed all the men in the village. I don't blame them though, they don't know better. It's up to the men to become men again.

@@janepatton8100 yup...you really are a special one arent you? Since you obviously are not comprehending whats happening here and seem incredibly dedicated on giving people unnecessary life lessons, ill try to break things down in the most simple way possible. 1.) - The Misinterpretation I wasnt "judging" him. I was giving him compliments on staying healthy since the last time I saw him.. which was about 20 years ago. Yet you still decided to chime and voice your opinion..as well as the 684 other people voicing their opinions in the comment section. 3.) The Delusion - Complimenting an Actor d from a Television show on their health is not "How we got here" at all. YOU got here by trying to sound more Intelligent on the internet than you really are SO BAD that you ended up turning positivity into negativity. I got here from an entirely different route as well as everybody else who seem to be in good pretty good spirits. (You were only one who took the scenic route) 4.) This show is hysterical. Too bad they fired him and then it ended a season after. The chemistry in their group was what made it special. Huge mistake for the ones who decided to remove one of them, LESSON LEARNED!👊🏼

It's crazy how social media platforms changed Hollywood's power structure, at least in the way they deal with "black sheeps" in the family. I DISTINCTLY remember the word on the street being he chose to leave to focus on his film career. Now I realize stories like that used to get put out there so there wouldn't be backlash from the fans/community. Thanks for this Vlad... 🙏🏾

This is a prime example why black folks need to get and own their own platform, because when you rely on these big companies and people from outside the culture, they get to dictate your reality, tell you what to do and if they feel like your not willing to bow down, they will kick you to the curb and spit on your name. Im just glad this brother stood strong and didnt sell his soul for the check

You didn't hear him say he was disparaged by a brother at an audition?
@richieroqreacts9034
@richieroqreacts9034 3 жыл бұрын
@@brownin329 i think your confused, im referring to him being on the show (living single) , toward the end of the show, they had gotten white producers and white writers. So alot of the authenticity of the show was getting watered down. What your referring to is after he got fired from living single, he went to another audition and he said when he got There, the black guy who was doing the audition was in the room with a butch of white guys and basically said ( I heard you difficult and hard to work with) and he said he walked out because he felt they black guy wasnt gonna give him a fair shot
