In this clip, The Game weighed in on past rap beefs he has followed and commented on the confrontations between Nicki Minaj vs. Megan Thee Stallion and Eminem vs. Machine Gun Kelly. While discussing Nicki Minaj and Megan Thee Stallion's beef, he appreciated Minaj's ability to keep the matter about the person, thus tipping the scale towards Minaj. He later expressed his views about the 2018 beef between Eminem and Machine Gun Kelly. Even though he admires Eminem as a legendary artist, he felt that Machine Gun Kelly stood his ground with his lyrical strength and gave the latter an edge in that particular beef. The Game, a hip hop veteran himself, stressed his ability to judge beefs based on his long-standing experience in the hip hop industry.

Nowadays There is no Dre like you know him as the Dre from the 90s-2000s. Nowadays you don’t need a Dr. Dre Beat to get success. Dre was never that super producer. Dre had always a super team behind him. All them death row beats didn’t came from Dre. Those beats are from Sam sneed, Daz Dillinger, Warren G, DJ Quik and the list goes on. When you look after the death row time, the beats came from Scott Storch, some from Sam Sneed, Mel Man, Hi Tek and the list goes on here too. So it’s not just Dr. Dre. That’s why pac was so mad at that time cause all them beats came from others but Dre gets the credit for that. The only thing where Dre is untouchable is mixing an album. To gave an album the final touch. That’s why Detox never came out. His last try was with the kush single and it flops. Great song but it flops. That was the point where Dre shut down detox. So yea when it is the Dre from the 90s/2000 era with game on one song then it’s gonna smash. Otherwise there are actually 100 times better producers out there then Dr. Dre for game to jump on

Ppl who actually know hip hop know Em won that. it just is what it is. But because Em came out so heavy on the lyricism, on the double entendres, and on multi syllable rhyme schemes, his lines are going to go right over a LOT of ppls heads (as u can see in this comment section ) . So yeah , a lot of people who aren’t well versed in hip hop aren’t going to understand it and therefore by default are going to choose MGK bc his was simpler, easier to understand, and requires no thought oto rly grasp what he’s saying bc it’s just so basic. Which basic rap is what is in style today. So yeah that’s why ppl might say MGK and look I’m not taking anything away from MGK. His was catchy and brought excitement to the rap game at least. It wasn’t bad! But real hip hop heads who really understand lyricism know that killshot bodied MGK 🤷‍♂️ there were far more complex punchlines and rhyme schemes . Eminem just had far more personal disses in his track. MGK only had a couple true punchlines and Eminem literally flipped every single one of them back on MGK. If you don’t agree, that’s perfectly fine. But like I said, people who REALLY understand lyricism know Em took that. That’s why MGK been so silent ever since it dropped. Those are the facts.
