As bad as Suge has always been, I've still always been under the impression, that the one (and only) person, who Suge, actually, really did like, legitimately, was Pac. My theory is, not only was 2Pac a huge cash cow, but, he also had that crazy ass, leader/dictator type of attitude and personality, and Big Suge fucking loved that. Being around 2Pac was, pretty much, a double (or triple, etc.) win, for Suge. That's just my opinion, though.

Tone7580 It had a few good songs on it (blueberry, groupie, vapors, doggyland, gold rush)... but it was still a big disappointment. Doggfather had a lighter, poppier sound. It had none of the dark gangsta menace of tracks like Serial Killa, Murder Was the Case, Niggaz & Bitchez etc. with all those horror movie-like swirling sine waves & Tony Green bass lines. Tracks like Doggy Dogg World, Lodi Dodi took you into some dimly lit, late night, smoky bar from some 70s blaxploitation movie. If Dr.Dre was going for late 70s P-funk thing, Dj pooh had more on a Zapp & Roger vibe. Snoop's lyrics and flow were all over the place on the doggfather and Snoops upside You Head was a really lame first single party track too.

The thing about is why would Pac not wear his bulletproof vest Pac always wore his vest alot, & most of the time kept one of his guns either on him or close by. Like when he got shot in NY Pac had 2 glocks on him just couldn't grab one in time they had the drop on him. The reason I believe so many people think Suge set Pac up is because we only seen a lot of the ruthless shit talking Pac. The more you listen to stories about Pac, he was ruthless against his enemies but his boys were his boys and he would do anything for them. Many more rappers have started talking about what kind of friend and person he was and his passion and charisma and I really believe Suge liked Pac probably the most out of everyone. He was real, he was talented as can be and he was passionate about the people in his life. Pac was the kind of person you just wanted to hang around and have on your team.
