I know what he's talking about when he says Dre is into expression in his raps. For example, if you listen to the album version of a song like "Mind playing Tricks on me" (ghetto boys), It doesn't have nearly the amount of emotion that the radio version does. I've noticed that trend with a lot of the NWA records as well. It's surprising how much feeling comes through, just from a rappers flow & the inflection he puts in certain words. Tupac & Eminem are both masters at this.

For those to say DRE is not a real producer. The way I see it, DRE is like Steve Jobs. You higher other producers/coworkers to work/make the product. Once the product is done it's finally stamp and labeled under DRE/Apple camp. You can't claim your own iPhone or music if you were working under someone else. The head honchos (DRE/Steve Jobs) are leaders and that's what leaders do to succeed.
@bigaparker19776 жыл бұрын
Kavika yup people always wanna act like they can do it all by them selves. Back in the day u put a team in the studio. One person gotta have the ear that's what dre got. (Sound good now play this like this)ok sound better now play it again til u get it right or get beat (in my suge knight voice )
@stevej49045 жыл бұрын
It's called being a visionary and taking all accountability. He hired the producers players and the like. Scott is unscathed w the people and the artists but Dre is dragged through the mud if he doesn't make a hit, by the people, artists, the label and social media... He takes a lot of heat. But you don't become a near billionaire by chance. I know the other facets of his game and that's his secret sauce. Suge tried to break him by keeping all Death Rows inventory. He let it go, walked! and created his own wealth on his talent. Scott knows that and he will do the same too cause he has the talent.
@stevej49045 жыл бұрын

It's pretty dope! 2001 was the dopest drop in 1999, but either I listened to it to much, or just grew musically, because now I feel like it's so played out. Dre's soundtrack mix production in 2015 with artists like Kendrick Lamar, Snoop Dogg, and Eminem.Ice Cube, Xzibit to just name a few. A line-up hard to beat! Maybe, your ears/brain just isn't ready for the change in style, whatever the case I think it's got dope beats, bass, mixing, and lyrics!

It doesn't seem like he actually disrespected anyone when he was experiencing his 'downfall.' At least thus far I haven't heard stories of him beefing with people or things like that...Rather, it seems like people simply stopped working with him because he was too intoxicated on drugs and substances to work effectively. But now that he's sober and doing well people in the industry seem like they are willing to work with him again.
