That’s a great idea. Can wait to try that on my guitars. I will try that on my classical and electric guitars. Thanks.

Do you happen to offer this as a service? I have an idea to find some custom wood tuning buttons and dye them various colors, but in order to dye them I imagine I'd need them to be without a finish. So I'm looking for someone who might be able to make them for me

The larger size holes you drilled that fit over the semi-flat portions of the tuner pegs, how did you get that to grip? I mean inside the larger portion its not a circle its more like (=) circular on the sides and flat on the top/bottom. I'd like to understand how you filled in that space please. I have buttons I like but that have too much play in this area and looking for a way to eliminate the play.

Holes are exact diameter as shaft, you may notice in video I used two different drill bit sizes, smaller one for shaft other one a bit bigger for screw hole. Its a tight fit. I didn't fill that space , I used small drop of thick CA glue just to lock them in place. Thanks for watching!

Do these just fit on snugly enough to not spin when used? Working on a PRS style guitar and want to do spalted/curly maple for the buttons....
