How do i get the bulb to sit in the housing correctly

If you purchase a headlight set with bulb holder (green O ring), go with the D2H/D2S bulbs, if you purchase a headlight set with metal clips, will fit D2H/D2S and H7 bulbs.

Witch headlight bulb is required for the headlight assembly just purchased a pair of the same ones you have

My friend that bulb is wrong i have same issue they refer to use h7 which is not you should use d2 bulbs and they fit perfect. H7 bulb should be used if they come with metal retainer clip. I contact manufacturer of these headlight and they instructed me that way and it works. I know that was hassle to do it i even broke my retainers and get a new one and fit so that is solution.

and where do you get d2? Haven't seen them in any store

And that's only if you have HID

Ok d2 bulb you have to purchase online on ebay or amazon also they have as a hid but in found it in a store but they are over 100usd so just look up online.

With this video being somewhat recent, just wondered about if you could use an LED bulb in these housings. Would the fan fit behind the dust cover?

Do these work with Factory HID headlights?

Yes transfer the module/ box in your factory headlight housing to the new ones there's a little square connecter/ plug deep inside the new housings where you change the bulb. fish it out and plug in

It may just plug right into your factory harness without having to transfer the module.
