Fun fact! I have cutscenes in a video game I'm developing that has semi-corrupted video files (encoded in MPEG-2). When you try playing these cutscenes in-game or through Windows Media Player, the videos have missing pixels or just have weird problems that make it hard to tell what's going on. When you plug the cutscene files into VLC however, the files play just fine with no issues at full frame rate and no artifacting! It's like magic!

Default download on EVERY machine I have. Besides Foobar for audio, this is simply the best player.
