VLF Enters India: New Electric Scooter 'Tennis' Unveiled!
Hey everyone, big news in the electric vehicle world! Italian EV manufacturer VLF, known for its stylish designs, is making its way into the Indian market. They're setting up a brand new manufacturing facility in Kolhapur, Maharashtra, gearing up to launch their debut electric scooter, the VLF Tennis, just in time for the festive season this year.
Partnering with KAW Veloce Motors Pvt Ltd for manufacturing and distribution, VLF is set to make a splash with the Tennis scooter. Available in two variants-one with a 1.4kWh battery pack offering a 60km range and a top speed of 45kmph, and another with a 2.8kWh battery pack providing a 100km range and a top speed of 100kmph-this scooter promises versatility and performance.
Equipped with modern features like a TFT instrument console, LED lighting, and three riding modes (Eco, Comfort, Sport), the VLF Tennis is set to compete with top players in the market. Think Ather, Ola, Bajaj, and TVS-the Tennis aims to carve its niche among them.
VLF plans to focus on tier 1 and tier 2 cities initially, with ambitions to establish 15 dealerships by the end of 2024 and ramping up to 50 by the next financial year's end. It's an exciting time for electric mobility enthusiasts in India!
