@@HawthornCompany the hardest part for me was just getting used to a new schedule. Yes, it's scary at first, but if you have a good plan and you looked into everything and you determine that you can take that step of quitting your job and being your own boss, eventually, that scared feeling gets filled with determination. Right now, I'm struggling with time management. I don't have a 9-5 schedule. I start working on different things daily, from 9am sometimes until 2 am. I'm a bit of a workaholic. It's hard for me to finish one task at 3pm and say, "I'm done, I'm clocking out." I find something else I need to work on, I've always been that way. Lots of overtime lol. I'm learning to force myself to take a day completely off, even though it's hard for me to do. I honestly think that if the hardest part of quitting my job to start my own business is time management, then I am blessed! There is one more things I find, not hard, but gets in my head. Because I have all this time, I feel pressured to launch fast because I should be done with everything. Because I have so much time, I should be more advanced. Because I have so much time, I need to be done sooner. It's just my own self putting pressure on myself and making myself feel that I'm not where I should be. Makes sense?

I recently quit my job as a preschool teacher back in February and man my anxiety was off the charts before I finally took the plunge. I also struggle with an anxiety disorder and I have 3 small children so it was a huge decision for my family. My husband still works but he only makes $12/hr so the majority of our finances are on my shoulders which is a huge stress for me daily but it’s been amazing so far and I’m making more than I was as a preschool teacher so fingers crossed it continues to go uphill for my family 💞

I was a Refer truck driver state to state and I now drive locally for a lab, but you're right, it does take a toll. I’m wanting to do the same exact thing. It’s hard to walk away from the money. But my job has become soul-sucking at this point. I have an idea for a part time gig for you, if you were considering different options - you could totally do voice over work. You have a great voice which is very beneficial if you ever looked into doing that kind of work.

Ugh tell me about it. Soul sucking jobs are the worst, but they are definitely solid motivators to find what you want to do in life and work hard for it lol. If it wasn’t for those types of jobs, I’d never try to start a business 😂. Haha and your part time gig is a good idea!! I have no idea on where to look for that type of work though.

Coco83 was my favorite wax but like you, it’s so hard to get!! I was worried about stock issues with it in the future. It’s such a shame since it’s an amazing wax (I blended mine).
