I'll never understand why people drive beside a big truck, it's always my goal to get past as quickly as possible and if I can have an empty lane between us, even better!!!

Good running Tim. I know you don't like the salt, but it's necessary for safety. Both of my cars got it recently. Cleaned each at the DIY car wash. Based on weather, where can you get "Big Pete" cleaned?
@LifeisGood20187 жыл бұрын
Ben Gone at a Blue beacon Truck wash, they are spread out across the country, it cost me around $100 to clean the truck and trailer

It was fun in the mid 80's. Hit ice and snow just north of Birmingham Al. Was ok until I hit the loop. More cars were crashing then they could tow away.

@hotrodhog21707 жыл бұрын
Any time I have changed a fuel filter I just fill it with fuel before putting back on and I have never had a problem restarting the engine. What time did you finally get out of the dock? You got there at noon and it was pitch black when you were leaving.

Is that air compressor as loud in person as it sounds on video? We're thinking about buying an 18 389 daycab with the X15 efficiency. That compressor sounds like a 4 wheeler. LOL.

I can remember mid 90's, we got blasted hard. 1-2 inches of ice, drifts that froze. I can still remember the manager for the auto/tire shop I worked at wanted everyone at work......I was young and stupid, took me about hour and half to go 5 miles taking back roads. Then it took a good hour just to get the door to one bay open, we had no customers shocking. Then he had use washing out the bays and clean them...the water had no place to go. So that's why you see some cars out in the snow/ice crashing, people who don't know how to drive on it. Or for that matter have the right tires, or city services to help. Because someone has no clue and thinks people will be out like normal.

Yea cities shut down in the south for even the threat of ice or snow, no one even really owns a big winter coat. Only thing that gets sand / salt is overpasses and bridges, maybe the major roads through town.
