Haha...bro, I know you have a gravel bike somewhere in your heart. Time to get 1! Today's topic is my favourite topic because I also own a few ebikes myself among my analog bikes. Long comment incoming.... Don't make fun of ebike because it is a useful training tools to become faster in riding (your analog bike). For someone who love to ride every day, it is not always possible to ride everyday without draining your body out. We still have other things to take care of in life, other than cycling. With an ebike, you can train everyday by using it as a recovery tool. For someone who are always crunching for time but still want to ride far, e-bikes allow you to ride further and faster, returning home earlier to take care of your family. It is actually not easy to ride an ebike fast. After all it is a heavy bike. How does a ebike ride feel? Give you some guide the power used when doing a zone-2 100km ride on a flat route. Around 150watts at 35++kph with lowest assist. Around 250w at 40++ kph with lowest assist. Almost impossible to sustain a ride at 50++kph without some pro legs, even at a the highest assist. Another way to describe it, it feels like you are on the 2nd and 3rd bikes in a single line peloton when riding solo. **no point using the highest assist in an ebike the battery will just drained exponentially for a seasoned cyclist. Likely your battery will run out before you start to sweat. And I also fully agree an ebike is for beginners or to get someone new into cycling.. My wife use it to keep up with me when I join a fast group ride on my analog bike.

So chill and always a gem to see your down to earth rides and vids. I think E bike will surely be a hit in the near future. Currently the lightest one (Wilier Filante SLR Hybrid, Scott Addict eRide 10 etc *around the 11 kg range) just cost too much. Like EV vehicles, the prices will surely go down in the near future. The mid 10kg mark still too heavy for a road bike in my opinion unless it's a MTB. Great to see your "power" also strengthen alot after riding more, inspiration to "lazy" rider like me. Still hoping to ride with you one day in KL. By the way is there road bike rental service in KL in case (Something like the bike park in Bangkok) i want to just come down for a ride in KL? Ride safe and see ya on your next vid bro. Cheers.

eBike road commute and Z2 training. Burns fat. Keep your effort manageable because any route will have grades. One of my bikes is an eBike, Domane+ HP
@melvintanchannel7 ай бұрын
Yes actually z2 training is good.... If traffic between my house to work is not so crazy, I wud commute with an ebike for sure.

You better watch out. Seems to be the perfect habitat for king cobras & giant reticulated pythons. Just kiddin man 😂. I think a gravel bike will be much fun there! Carry on bro 👌 ❤️ the ebike. It’s one of the ticket to get people into cycling, especially for less-than-fit enthusiasts
