You won’t be disappointed. It’s a bike that makes me smile every time I ride the thing . Just dial in the suspension for the roads you ride on . Enjoy 😊

Thanks , helmet is HJC . After riding the RS1200 speed triple yesterday, the little ktm still is the bike for me. New BMW r1250GS on order, due June. Best of both worlds . Ride safe 👍

Thanks for the tutorial. Always enjoy your videos. Even my local KTM dealership in the States couldn't tell me anything about LC after I purchased the tech pack. Off the subject, what is the add'l screen on your handlebars? Looks too big to be a phone.

Thanks it is a garmin zumo xt gps, for nav, music and telephone . I swap it from the KTM to my Africa twin . I have got the KTM module, ridiculous that you can’t phone out on that ….only receive calls . They market the bike as a bit of a loony tune machine admins then block you from making phone calls 🙈don’t waste your money 💰

Thanks! Looks like a great navi. May have to save my pennies for one. This is my 1st KTM & my only gripe is that EACH built-in feature costs me $340 to unlock...track pack, heated grips, cruise control, and quick shifter. Guess I'm supposed to be thankful they don't charge me extra for brakes and handlebars. Lol

Curious how are you liking the mirrors? I have massive shoulders and the OEM ones are completely useless for me. Just trying to justify 300$ for the set

My dealer didn't have the r sadly and did not want to wait so purchased the GP I pick it up Friday a fantastic bike I'm sure the GP is more then enough for me 😀 what screen is that? Looks neat

Only issue was a defective battery before I collected it from The showroom. New one installed before I took the bike , all good. Chain tension seems to cause issues . I run mine as per the owners manual , dealers tend to do them up too tight . Quick shifter is not the best on the business but is ok . No other issues , bike is crazy light n fast 👍

Does the 890 duke R come with the tech pack as standard?

Mine didn't, but you could always haggle with your dealer to see if they will unlock it for free or a reduced fee!!

yup, i've already watched your attempt.......i guess thats why KTM say to use it on a private road. hopefully just hurt pride on that occasion !

KTM ripping you off mate I was looking at the 790 duke I was told I track packs included Quick shifter launch control cornering traction, control, and ABS Quick shifter up and down launch control So why the hell are they charging you for that? When your bike cost more that font makes no sense To be fair price you pay you shouldn’t have to pay for Add on

It's because it's KTM. The new bikes I think they give you a teaser of all the electronic stuff that you could pay more for and then after you've wheeled it out of the showroom , brand new, it deactivates things you haven't paid for after a certain mileage and then if you want them unlocked you have to go to your dealer with wads of cash to unlock them . Bit of a rip off.

@@gsd32i that’s a bit of a con they told me it come whith the tech package quick shifter launch control all the riding mode’s traction control abs Corning assist If that’s lowercase K, the the p out of us I will have to doublecheck when I go back For the test ride
