My extremely conservative and religious Baptist Great Aunt Gail said you should probably have sex with your partner before you get married because if you tie the knot and find out you're sexually incompatible, there comes the $100,000 divorce. To me it is definitely something serious and while I've gone a little far with 2 guys I've never gone "all the way" just because I want it to happen with someone I can say I am in love with and that I have that foundation with. But yeah, I asked my family group chat what they think about sex before marriage and literally everyone says before because $100,000 is not worth it. LMAO. Also you need to try the Italian hoagies if you are ever in Philly! I have Subway on my university campus and its rough bc I am an addict. I feel your pain.

Sex is so important and too many people nowadays see it as just no big deal, but when they become pregnant after hooking up with someone they hated personally but loved the sex with, it becomes a bigger problem than they anticipated.

I am a 27 year old virgin. I don't date, but I have talked to men and one reason it did not get as deep as it could have is because these guys didn't want to take any time. I feel like we are in like a microwave generation and a lot of folks really need something instant to satisfy them. I'm ok with waiting until I find someone that wants to take the time to get to know me and make it worth both of our while. I don't agree with the whole "youre young, go be wild and free" mentality that so many people have about it. I do feel like we should step up to the plate of adulthood and value the relationships we create with others. These things take just take time. Some stuff you just cant rush in life.

I dont sleep around, I was dating a guy and after about 4 dates he texted me that it wouldnt work out because all he wanted to do was jump in bed on the first date and I would not do that, I met a guy that we dated for about 2yrs and then got married after being together for 5yrs it was awhile after we met that we had sex because we both felt the same way and on oct 1st it will be 2yrs we have been married and things are going great, so I agree with you, to many people base their relationship on how good the sex is and that is for both straight and gay couples.

I hook up on a semi/occasional basis and I don't ever see myself not having sex with someone even before we make it official as a couple.
