I was there from 10/7 -09 went thru rock creek, mammoth, devils postpile, June lake loop and Tioga. The Best, June Lake loop by Gull lake. I made this trip for my 96 year old mom couldn't; healthy, spunky no bueno all that time in the car. So I video'd snippets at each location

How cold is it? I checked the weather 10-20 Celcius seems pretty cold ..

@@nasun3800 If you've checked the weather and still asking how cold is it. Don't bother. If you can't endure 70 during the day and 40 at nite. Stay in the City. Reality check, its the weather the cold part that causes the colors to change. Why? Plant life is hunkering down for winter. Yep, don't go, you'll wear sandals anyway ;)

@@flyingdawnmarie You know why I also did mine last week. My Mom. She's 96 couldn't endure the car time etc. So I went took various snippets from the desert to the mountains and various places. Each vid was for Mom and at the end of each snippet as taught "love you Mom". Remember you might not have that love you opportunity again

I am planning to go to Bishop and North Lake this weekend (10/7&8/23) Hopefully they will have a beautiful fall colors by then 🙏

I was up in Bishop yesterday (North/Sabrina/South Lake) some great patches of color but not 100% so I have a feeling if this weather holds it could be a glorious weekend.😊🍁
