Okay as a psychotherapist who works with some of the trans community, I have to tell you, this is spot on. Good for you Sam involving the kids. This is a way affirmative way to get a positive message across. Thank you!

What a sweet son. Such beautiful words. Tears in my eyes😢 I recently told my 3 nanny children that I am transgender. Their answer: There is nothing wrong with that❤

Wow, what a great son you have!!! Thank you Justin for your sincere answers. I am sure this will help a lot of children who have a trans mum or dad. And Sam, what a great guy you are!!! You should be so proud of yourself. Thank you so much for sharing your journey with us. I will never forget the moment I saw your photo on front of the Volkskrant Magazine and reading the interview. For me a life changing moment. Not sure where my journey wil end, but your story, your v-logs strengthen me. Thank you🙏🏼

Hey Sam! Just discovering this channel, so excuse me if this has been answered elsewhere in a video, but I was wondering: I wonder, do you miss Belgium, either politically or sentimentally? I'm not very up to snuff on the LGBTQIAU2+ situation there, but surely it can't be worse than the US is, though California maybe isn't that bad? Thanks so much for sharing all this! PS. That moment when you said you thought 2020 is going to be a great year... Oh boy! PPS. I've been looking for some Dutch trans musicians to see what their experiences are, you're the closest I've found thus far, apart from a Dutch singer who is mostly known in Germany in the 80s... If you know any you can recommend, Belgian ones too, I'd love to hear it! I'm already a fan of Joe Stevens/Coyote Grace, but I'd like to get some musicians closer to home as well, so I could possibly visit a concert of theirs once those are happening again

Thanks for your videos. I may have missed it but have you made a vlog about how you told your parents and how they are dealing with it (if not: would you consider it)? You hinted at it here, so I hope it's okay to ask about.

The boy is obviously not happy with it. Did you gaslit him to do this video in the name of 'education'? It certainly looks like it. "If you need to transition to be happy, then do it." But you WERE HAPPY before transitioning. And wait, there's more to people than the outside? Who would have thought that. 🙄 So much cringe in this video.
@Orgi154 жыл бұрын
He may not be "I've always hoped you'd be trans"-happy but he is just a person dealing with change in a very adult, respectful and supportive way and I don't see anything wrong with showing that not everything about transitioning is easy and a joy for everyone involved in the process. He ist being honest and sensible at the same time and I think that is very important and helpful not just for Sam but also for others who might be seeing this while also having a trans family member or friend. Just keep your negativity to yourself and don't try to read difficulties into where there are none! To Sam: Thank you for letting us (the public) take part in your process. I really appreciate you being so open about everything. As a somehow queer woman who doesn't know a single trans person irl it is very exiting and helpful for me to just watch and learn. Have a great day! 😊🌴 (I hope what I wrote makes any sense since English is not my first language. I don't mean to offend anyone!)
@sexysadie29014 жыл бұрын
How do you know he was happy before transitioning? He obviously was not.
@David.Bourgeois2 жыл бұрын
@@sexysadie2901 I agree. In previous videos, Sam stated that he had lived a 'blessed life' as a woman / lesbian with a succesful career, it's true. But that doesn't mean he lived life at its fullest. He also stated that he felt some things weren't quite right, and also said he wasn't particularly happy all the time. So, who are we to say that someone was "happy enough", as if to prevent them from taking further steps to feel better? Does someone has to be particularly sad or depressed to be allowed to feel better?
