I once studied the humanities and watched videos like this for school. Then I switched to engineering and spent my time understanding maths, losing the humanities. Now I have graduated and can go back to see videos like this, to grow myself again. We all deserve to understand the humanities to become better people, and I am sorry that it took me this long to come back

"I had a dream life was blue and green past countless days they became buildings of greys asphalt, bricks and tar with smog to hide the stars." A small verse from, The cold truths and warm lies, a chronicle of poems, by J.J Wills

Is it a reactionary work against the dehumanising aspects and disintegrations of the industrial revolution?

I actually memorized The Raven by Edgar Allan Poe when I was 15 for no other reason than I liked it. Imagine my pleasure when the next year in my English class we were asked to memorize it for a grade, lol.

A poetic metaphor for how he saw human life... is, surprisingly, right. I think?

I would probably be a lot more receptive to this, but for the fact I've just spent an hour discussing Keats, plus the time spent preparing for the discussion. Good nonetheless
