Congratulations finally getting to fly your own glider! I have to say that training hill set up is the best I have ever seen. Thanks for posting

Thank you so much🙏 it’s been a long road getting to this point. It was hard in so many ways but giving up never crossed my mind, I knew this was going to be my passion for the rest of my life! Ya that hill is really big!! When you see it in person it’s almost intimidating😂

Wow! I really got to see how much you are a part of the aircraft with this one, that you seem to be dancing across the sky. Thank-you, as always.

1:38 Oof, yes. I've seen videos of some schools giving rides up on ATVs - how *_sweet_* would that be??

I know, and I came from a flight park that just load a glider up on a golf cart or a truck… never had to walk much, Im definitely spoiled in that way. But, now, this is the traditional way! Get you strong!!💪
@GentleFlyerHG2 ай бұрын
@@nanoraflyz I’m a little spoiled too. My instructor rolls the glider back up the hill for me so I don’t get tired too soon. 🥹 I want to get stronger so he doesn’t have to. When you go back up the hill are you rolling it back up on the wheels? Facing the nose, we tilt it down and then push it back up. If our hill were smoother and didn’t have so many little divots it would be easier for me. 😅 Maybe this trick will help you.

That transition from alpha to falcon is cool, I did not flare the first time, also landed on the wheels, it felt so sleek and fast. I got my self a falcon 3, shorted packet and on its way to Dominican Republic. Good job! Hope to meet you in person one day!

Really enjoyed watching your progression. Also it was great to hear you and your instructor reflect on the difference between controlling the Alpha and the Falcon ...especially as that's where I'm headed in my training (I hope!).
@nanoraflyz2 ай бұрын
I don’t know a lot about Falcon yet so all I can share is simply how things went without much narrative… I know what Alpha was like for me but having had only 7 hill launch(at 100ft altitude) with Falcon I can’t odd my insights yet. I need more practices then I think I can make my content little more helpful for people transitioning from training glider to Falcon. Thank you so much for your comment! I hope so for you too! Hope you get to move onto next level glider!

Excellent job! Congratulations of your first flights on your own glider. That's a beautiful training hill. And the low wind is great, since it forces you to learn a good launch technique. When you have a lot of wind, it's a lot easier, but it can also make pilots lazy and sloppy. Low wind forces a pilot to be much more accurate with your skills.
@nanoraflyz2 ай бұрын
Thank you! I’ve only flown in light conditions…it may be a while before I can experience flying in the condition you are talking about. I guess I’ll know what it’s like when it happens😁

Awesome job, did you notice how much flatter the glide is on Blue vs the Alpha? Your control on the last flight was superb. Thanks for posting!
@nanoraflyz2 ай бұрын
Ya I noticed how smooth Falcon is comparison to Alpha! Very swift too. I can’t wait to try flying high up in the sky!!!
@carsonc12722 ай бұрын
They need a 4 wheeler with a hang glider dock to get that glider up the hill. Maybe even a flat bed truck. A guy could weld that up in a couple of days and you could do way more flights in a day. Good job... Hang gliding needs way more women in the sport!

Haha ya place like Lookout Mountain flight park offers cabby haul up service. That ground handling training is I imagine very beneficial in a long run.
