Did you used proper data? Find your IMM form which you had to submit for this application and that should help you to find all good info.

Hello Ela, I submitted the PGWP application through a new GC key acc as I was unable to find my old account. I tried to link it but have been unsuccessful. what would happen if I do not link it? will I get the work permit even if I did not link it? if not how can I link it. Thanks so much.

Hi there, sorry, I was on my vacation for the last 3 weeks. Do you have PGWP application number? Was it accepted by GC before your account get locked? If you are trying to link your application to new GC account try all 5 options you can see there, with your name, passport number, only with UCI and application number, try all options. You can link up to 5 times in 24 hours.

Check your start end date of your program. That could be the problem. Also it depends what your agent entered it so that could be the problem. Can you talk to you agent and take over your application?

Hi, did you tried all options? You can link up to 5 times in 24 hours. Try with application. number without application numbers.

Try first to contact IRCC by using web form. In a mean time find IMM form you filled in for visitors visa and use that info to try again to link your application. Ela

Hi Prabath, you can def transfer your application to your new GC account, but your representative can take it back. GC applications will follow each linking. Once you link it to your new account cancel the services with your representative. @@prabathk.h.c7922 Hi Prabath, you can create your own GC account but you will not be able to share same application on two separate accounts. Once you link that application to your new GC your agent will lose it and he can link it back to his account. If you want to start new application without your agent than new GC account will be useful to you. Regards,

How did you resolve the issue? I am in the same situation - I applied for PGWP and revoked my GCkey by mistake. I created a new GCkey and have been trying to link the application with no luck despite inputting accurate information.

Created a new GC key account and the Student study permit application was able to retrieve but not SOWP. while search shows that the application is not found. Hi Ajeesh, if any change was done on that application than try to remember what did you submit. For example you update your marital status or date of birth was corrected before application was completed. So use your IMM form and check if you used the correct data to link it back.

Hi there, you need to make sure what data he used. Maybe you can ask him to send you IMM form if you do not have it in file with you. Agent should be able to link it for you. Did he/she tried?

Hi Kaur, send me your IMM form to my e mail and I will try to link it for you. I will create new GC key and all info is on your IMM form for work permit.

Hi Saravpreet, are you trying to start new application? Does your agent already work on that same application? If he does and you did not pay you can create new application on our own account. If he paid ask him for application number and try to link that same application to your new account. Also cancel his/hers services after that. Ela

Hi Kritika, you should try without application number, only with your first and last name, date of birth. Is this your initial PG or extension?

Hi Ruoy, as far as I know once you finish your studies and get approved for work permit you cannot go back to be student anymore unless you first get your PR or your work permit expires. Once you get PR you can return to studies of you wish. But to be 100% sure on this I would contact IRCC via WEB form. As I read on their official web site you can have both but you need to be eligible. www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=1618&top=17 If you want to do on line studies than you do not need visa.
