This was helpful. I was afraid I was inhaling more than a dose-worth of powder, and you showed me that that’s not possible. Thanks!

I literally thought the same thing. just got this inhaler and was confused and wasted like 4 doses and I thought I took all 4 and was going to overdose

Thanks for sharing this. I just got my first wixela inhailer and messed up by moving the actuator lever twice before inhailing. I thought I took a double dose. I now know it's not possible, although I just hope the loose powder won't mess up the mechanism. We shall see!!

Potential Upcycling: A mini PEZ dispenser, A label maker, A mono version of a viewmaster picture viewer. lol ....personally, I get it. The analog counter on inhalers haunted me until I opened one up :-)

I thought it was a solid cake of medicine and when you pulled the lever it shaved/powdered the correct dose into the inhaling chamber. 😬I was wrong 🤣🤣🤣

I am glad you did that. I was itching for the day for my doses to be over and crash it open. Now I don't have to.

I use these things. I was just wondering how they work. Got on here and searched and this was the first video showing how they work rather than how to use them. Lol. The counter is actually off. I think it's like 5 hits or something. I can't remember exactly.

I used to be on that stuff but the insurance quit covering that brand so I had to switch to Tudorza. Works fine but pisses me off that no matter which Walgreens I use, they're always, month after month, out of stock, grrrr. Seems to me if they have so much call for it, then order extras, yesss? But I guess these stores don't run by logic.
@Lloyd-Black5 жыл бұрын
I don't think it's a matter of logic, it's a matter of the stupid supply companies. I'm not on breathing medication but my Walgreens is currently back ordered on one of my medications. Even the pharmacist is frustrated by the back orders, which there's many of. I suspect it's either corporate or the pharmaceutical companies that think they can play god with people who depend on medications. I will still use the Walgreens store I prefer though since they do help me the best they can, they're the closest that works with my insurance and I have all of my doctors send my prescriptions to the same store so my pharmacist can help me with interactions between any of them. I'm on nine medications currently, four for psychiatric reasons, two to counteract one of the side effects of the psychiatric meds and the rest are for other conditions, all of the conditions I inherited from my parents. Yay for genetics.
