If you ever get problems with your current setup, you could make DIY Procore with a 24" tubular road tyre (yes, those exist). It would be more complicated and expensive, but also more secure when it comes to burping and flats.
@nicolasproulx61327 жыл бұрын
Wow, that's actually really impressive! 😮

Dirtbikes have a Tubliss product where there is a small tube that expands just above the rim and they recommend it at 100psi so if you hit hard the rim will be ok. The inner tube acts like tape so the tyre can be filled with air too.
@richardtydryszewski89197 жыл бұрын
To fix that slow leak i would recommend using stans no tubes race sealant and coating the tire bead. i recommend using the racing version because it will fix leaks faster and in my experience wen it dries it is almost like a light glue. i ride mountain bike tubeless i know its a bit different but i found that wen i had that problem i did this and now it doesnt leak at all. If you try this and it still doesnt work i would add more sealant or add rim tape if you havent already unless you have a sealed rim. and to clarify rim tape i am talking about tubeless rim tape from stans no tubes its like plastic tape and just wrap it twice as tight as possible and that should solve any internal leak issues.

Hey Ali! Me n my friend made his bike tubeless and we litrally messed the whole process up by spilling the sealant n stuff and then after all that when we got it done the tire started burping and we got soo anoyed we just took everything out cleaned it and threw the tube back in😂. I think its waaaay easier to handle tubes, but both of it has its own pros n cons so we chose to continue with tubes lol. Anyways the drop in the end looked like the Danny Mac's cascadia drop! cheers Ali!!!

If tubeless leaks air, somethings wrong. U need to refill tubeless fluid something like every 3 months or so. Best way to know for sure is to take of the wheel and shake it, if u hear fluid in the tire: u are good to go, if not: refill tubeless fluid.

At 15:16 you captured some Chemtrails in the background. Lol. They are spraying that shit everywhere! But back to the riding part, I could see the rim flex when you cased the edge of the curb, which hit pretty hard and I'm surprised that it didn't pop the tire. I just subscribed to your channel, this is about the 5th video I've watched, I noticed that Danny has been in a couple of them. I didn't know you were this good, I don't know anything about trials riding or the rider's, just one day I was watching different videos and I just happened to stumble upon one oh Danny Macaskill's videos, and I was like damn, he's freaking awesome! I really liked his video Danny Macaskill's imaginate, that was a phenomenal video! But I've really taken a liking to your riding too. Danny just does some sick stunts, but now I've subscribed to both of your channels, Danny's I subscribed to about 3 weeks ago, and now yours today. Does the other guys you ride with have their own channels too, like the guy on the green bike who you said is the master at manuals? Great videos!😎👍

Super late to this party - what conti tire are these guys running? Also... tubeless leaks down a little overnight... just air up before you ride every time Typically my road tires conti 5kTLs @100psi leak down 10psi over the first 24 hours being parked And my MTB tires @ 30psi 29" conti crosskings (which have a couple plugs and numerous little stans "heals" in them... I get alot of thorns.) Leak down around 5psi in 24hrs of being parked. I thinks it's a "tubeless thang"

Ali, I'm 44 and got an Inspired Skye. I don't go big and need the most forgiving frame possible :(. Are other Inspired models flexier to the point where it makes a difference, or stick with what I have and tweak tire pressure? Greetings from San Diego!
@morganpedley31637 жыл бұрын
Sam Evans if you look at the vlog episode "new whip" Ali says there is a noticeable bifference between the fourplay and the arcade but I am unsure about the Skye.
@iainthavinthat7 жыл бұрын
What is your frame made of? A steel frame feels a lot better than aluminium one, specially in a rigid bike and doing things like this.
@se114597 жыл бұрын
Thanks, Skye is aluminum. Wonder if a noob like me would notice a significant difference w steel.
@iainthavinthat7 жыл бұрын
Sam Evans I remember going from a supermarket rigid steel bike to a basic MTB with aluminium frame and front suspension, and going in the same trails and roads I thought the aluminium frame was broken because it sends a lot more vibrations to your body. I thought it was an horrible feeling but a good suspension can make it bearable. If the rigid fork on your bike is aluminium too then you definitly are going to notice it.
@se114597 жыл бұрын
Ali Clarkson Awesome, thanks. Any suggestion on a replacement fork that would work with my headset and the thick axle on the Skye, and give most flex?
@butunercouk7 жыл бұрын
greatest sidewall and rim abuse I've ever seen, welldone spank and continental. I'm running tubeless setup on my enduro bike with non tubeless tire and rim still no leakage in trails. Btw I think tire rebounds better without inner tyres @ higher tire pressures. what do you think about that?
