I'm glad you had a good time in Oxford. We always want to show southern hospitality to our guests. I was at the game right behind you. As for the "brilliant Ole Miss fans" shouting SEC, we're not idiots. We know that we're in the same conference. You haven't learned yet, but the SEC is different than the SWC. We actually have CONFERENCE pride. We ALWAYS shout SEC at the end of games. So do other SEC teams. It was actually a way for Ole Miss fans to welcome Oklahoma to the family. Hopefully Oklahoma and Texas fans will soon figure that out and appreciate it because the SEC hate trolling of their fans is getting old very quickly. It's YOUR conference now. Be proud of it.

We had a great time! As a whole, Ole Miss fans were a class act! You will never be able to understand how unbelievable the timing is with Oklahoma being so down right now, naturally, as we enter the SEC. Ole Miss is a solid team this year and without a doubt, is the better team between the two. No excuses. Oklahoma's lack of offensive line (and I mean it's literally the worst offensive line Oklahoma has probably EVER had, no joking) and literally their top 5 wideouts all being out to injury is what got their OC fired mid-season and been 100% the cause of such a horrible season. I guess I should have said "brilliant" SEC fans then instead of Ole Miss fans lol. Also... education time, Oklahoma has never been in the Southwest Conference. You are thinking of Texas. :) I've been to several other SEC games on the road and haven't heard them chant SEC vs. SEC opponents, only when it's non-conference opponents, so that makes sense.... but I felt it was very much a troll as if the fans were like "see, welcome to the SEC", lol. I'll never be able to explain what it feels like to have Ole Miss football fans pounding their chest over Oklahoma's program. The two programs historically aren't even in the same galaxy, lol. But again, congrats on the win and thank you for the hospitality. While the stadium was really small and not loud/intimidating and quite frankly didn't even feel like a college atmosphere at all (which was super surprising), I will have to save that tailgating at The Grove was INSANE and 110% the best tailgating/pregame experience in all of college football. THAT is how you freaking tail gate! Good luck the rest of the season! Enjoy Oklahoma being down while they are, because it won't stay that way. Boomer Sooner x Hotty Toddy!
