It’s incredible you’re able to just tour that whole place with no one in sight.

Ole Miss’s last SEC Championship was in 1963, yes. But it was also the last SEC Championship won by a program not in the “Big Six” (Alabama, Tennessee, Georgia, LSU, Florida, and Auburn) - at least if you don’t count the share of an SEC Champion title that Kentucky was awarded in the 1970s. Ole Miss also has more SEC Championships than the rest of the SEC outside of that Big Six (Kentucky has 2, Mississippi State has 1. Arkansas, Vanderbilt, Texas A&M, South Carolina, and Missouri have 0) and has more titles than Georgia Tech (5) and Tulane (3) had before they left the SEC. Unfortunately for the Rebels, consistency fell off after Johnny Vaught retired from coaching in 1973. There were a few seasons throughout the 70s, 80s, and early 90s where the Rebels came in 2nd in the SEC or at least tied for 2nd, but they were spread apart and never allowed Ole Miss to break into the top spot again. Since the division era began in 1992, Ole Miss has had multiple great seasons but never managed to finish higher than second in the West - often because of Alabama, LSU, or sometimes Arkansas. The lone semi-exception to this is that the SEC technically awarded Ole Miss a co-division champ title in 2003 since they had a tied record with LSU, but LSU won the head to head and thus was the team representing the SEC West in Atlanta for the SEC Championship. It’s a nice showcase of how weird the conference rules and division rules truly are, because the SEC didn’t actually have any blueprint to follow when it made them. Teams technically can both be champions of the same division, despite playing head to head, just because it’s actually based on conference record. This will be done away with as of next season as the SEC is changing its structure entirely by moving away from divisions.

I don't know, something seems off. I can buy that there are no workers around as they are probably over in some obscure room. But it seems convenient that everything non-critical is open. I really wouldn't be surprised if this was all some viral marketing compaign and he had the full support of the colleges.
