Retraining front hand grip? Old habits or preference? Slalom sailors seem to do the underhand thing, what’s the benefit - if any? I am trying hard to unlearn the underhand although old instincts take over sometimes! Hamburg Starboard centre/shop?

I like to have a different grip on the front hand then the backhand. Doing it that way gives your muscles a little different stimulus. Of course, I switch the grip just before I jibe.
