In the future I was thinking of adding a signaling system but I am not sure if I will do it now after watching a few videos. It takes so much time and work to make the system work. The information was helpful.Scott

Very interesting videos! JMRI have just introduced block allocation in dispatcher (have you tried that? I am struggling with getting auto trains to work!) - seems yohu have options for specifying a number of blocks to allocate, 'safe' number of blocks - not sure how that works yt - or as many as possible - but this seems to preclude having one block and two block options for fast or slow trains as Rocrail allows. I would be interested in your comments, and whether you can point me to any further examples in these areas. Thanks.

hi Robert.. very interesting tutorial.. are you going to implement this system on your layout?? thanks for sharing.. vinny

Yes Vinny. Already partly in place. The ABS automates the dispatcher job. You (trains) simply request a destination (on throttle) and then you follow the signals you see. Turnouts are set by the ABS. This is for the main and branch lines. Yards and industry sidings/spurs are manually operated. Robert
