Good to see this review. Air India has already ordered its new flights from both Airbus and Boeing which is the highest-ever airline order with 470 aircraft. There is already an Airbus A350 running in India domestically. Try to fly in it if you get a chance and compare your journey. I Hope Air India's comeback soon.

How was the flight. Were they strict with the checked bag and carry on weight

Flight was ok. Yes checked is 2 bags 50 pounds each and carry on is 15 pounds plus a laptop bag. If this exceed they ask to remove stuff of pay for extra
