NY really just does have so many options for everything. When I was last there in April we went to the recital of a violin professor’s students at Juilliard because it worked with our schedule. Pre-college division and it was two hours of phenomenal performances of some extremely difficult repertoire… and it was free, to boot.

I just wanted to say that recently I've watched a video a few times of the Orpheus Chamber Orchestra performing Schumann's Symphony No. 2 in Dresden back in 2015, and I only just realized that your husband is in the second violin section! Thanks Katie for another lovely and enjoyable video! You are an amazing musician and I always love to see you and Santi practicing together, and all the pieces that you play are always so moving and beautiful. I play both the flute and the piano and so enjoy the music from both instruments. I do have a question. What is that beautiful piano excerpt that was playing at 9:42 for about 15 seconds?
