Get baskets for in the tv console so you can throw stuff in the bins but it still looks clean

I got a paper towel holder that is adhesive and it is under my kitchen cabinet so the big bulky holder wasn’t just sitting on my counter top! It’s made a huge difference in everything not looking so cluttered on my counter.

They make a “frosting” spray if you will to go over glass. You can put that on the doors to your media cabinet for now to help hide your stuff, then you can scrape it off when you move in the future!
