Wow what a nice vlog!!! So I'm Zulu and married to a Xhosa (Hlubi) guy from Farview just close to Mount Fletcher and it was my first Xmas with my in-laws in Dec 2020. I'm the first Makoti and WOW guys...ku chilled nkos'yam kwam. Everyone pulls their weight, uMama makes sure ukuth you feel like umntwana wakhona and not a Makoti. I can't make isdudu and they love it khona...uMama makes it religiously and I help with the cleaning and cooking ke. I'm worried about the day I have to slaughter a chicken because back home I'd always watch from a distance when my Mom used to do it... I'll have to rely on uHusbae or my brother's in law( God bless their amazing souls,they would always help in the kitchen... whether chopping somethings or starting another pot) FaziLand ain't bad so far... praying it remains as peaceful as it is now

Hi, am also at my inlaws for a week, my situation just similar to yours except that i am married to a different tribe. Learning almost everything, cooking with firewood, haaaha waking up early but slaughtering a chicken ngeke, ngiyisaba strong and hate it's smell.
