I left my first job almost exactly 1 year ago. The unknown was indeed scary at first but I gradually got used to it, and it was also thanks to the strong support from my hubby. It took me a long time before I finally found a new passion/hobby that will probably keep me occupied for a while. I'm sure you'll do fine :)

i move from projects to projects. most of the time with offshore colleagues. i dont even have onshore colleagues to sit and eat with usually. and i get the feeling of 'resigning' everytime a project is done. happened so many times that im numb to it already. kinda sad actually.

Hey, thanks for sharing :) Sounds like a lonely scope with no fixed colleagues at work, but I also admire your ability to work independently. Moving from one project to another means that you're in a very high-impact position! Was kinda in a same situation as you (in a much smaller scale with not much impact haha) so I might understand. It's like being a floater for me. If it helps at all, I sat down to think about what I really wanted in this life. Compared my current life to see if the two states matched- they didn't, so I left my job and made other changes. Perhaps it depends on whether this discomfort is enough for you to venture into another kind of discomfort, in terms of new job. Wishing you all the happiness in work/life!! :)
