VLOG: Efteling Hotel 2023 Room & Resort Tour | Our Excellente Suite at the Efteling Hotel!

As we move to conclude our time at Efteling, we would be remiss if we didn't showcase the Efteling Hotel, a small but amazingly well-themed resort property within two minutes' walk of the park! During our Summer 2023 stay at the Efteling Hotel, we had the pleasure of staying in the luxurious Excellente Suite (No. 804) on the top floor of the "castle turret". Our suite itself included a sit-in whirlpool tub, a double-headed rainfall shower, a massive king-sized bed with independent light fixture controls and a complimentary mini-bar packed with fruit, chocolate and Coca-Cola Zero Sugar! If that wasn't already enough to lure the average traveler, daily admission to the park was included for every day of our stay, and a complimentary breakfast buffet at De Hoffelijke Heraut Restaurant awaited us every single morning! The Efteling Hotel was truly a magical place to stay during our four nights in Kaatsheuvel, and we highly recommend it to any travelers seeking a place to rest their heads after a day of fantasy and adventure at Efteling.

Why do we even _have_ that lever? 😂 Our room in the Efteling Hotel was likely one of the most modern and/or 'adult' of all the themed suites, but there are a number of other suites for fans of princesses, fairies and dragons that are even better-themed than ours! 10/10 would stay at the Efteling Hotel again, but we have a lot of other places to explore before we circle back. Nice vlog and tour of the hotel. Dont know who told you that was a traditional Dutch breakfast but I know no one who has that for breakfast. Traditional Dutch breakfast would come closer to: a few pieces of bread, butter them and then use any of these toppings: slices of meat or cheese, chocolate sprinkles, fruit jams. Or muesli with yogurt, or ontbijtkoek with butter (kind of gingerbread with butter). But I never knew someone here saying they have donuts, brie and bacon for breakfast. :D

Oh, it wasn’t my specific plate I was referencing as the traditional Dutch breakfast 😂 I meant to indicate a breakfast that was heavy on the carbs so as to power through all of that biking. Nothing traditional about the way I eat! Haha thanks so much for watching!

@@timandkt the theming goes deep. At 2:27 the coat hanger says " The Emperor's New Clothes " The story where the emperor is tricked into wearing nothing at all.

Looks like a really nice and interesting hotel overall! Love that you’re wrapped right up in the storybook feeling upon entering the lobby and that all the fun theming details carried around. Those giant boots are a really cool touch. The kids play area ties really well into the theming too and was super inviting - you would have to physically hold me back from wanting to try that slide 😂 The room itself is gorgeous too! The bathtub seems great and the accommodations seem spacious and inviting. How unique that there is a special game specific to the room! And love the little mouse friend peeking out 😊 The breakfast looked super tasty - love that the have Efteling characters making appearances as well! Gotta love all the bread! Seems like a great way to start mornings at Efteling. All of that - and close proximity of just a few minutes walk to the park?! What more could you ask for! We would love to eventually make it out to the Netherlands and stop by Efteling - and now we have a pretty good idea of where we might wanna stay! Haha, fortunately there are quite a few more adult-sized slides hiding inside the theme park itself…so the Kids’ Castle wasn’t a must-do 😂 The room was incredible, one of the most luxurious we’ve ever stayed in across all of our travels. What an absolutely beautiful hotel! Wow! The excellence suite truly does look like paradise! Its HUGE!! I love that your room has a turret, so fancy. The fairy tale game, that's so cool they have that. I love that the red shoes from the closet have meaning for the game. That's so creative!! That tub is HUGE!! Haha love the fancy "E" carved into the headboard. The lobby looks nice too. Love the giant boots lol. Always love seeing the gift shop! I'm a mug collector for sure lol! Lots of stuff at the buffet! Fun they have characters there to greet sometimes too. How fun. A whole block of brie lol! Good idea on splitting that lol. Fantastic video as always! Every room at the Efteling Hotel looks a little bit different, but ours was by far the most luxurious and romantic that we've seen on the property. The headboard was definitely a nice touch 😍 Breakfast at Efteling was incredible, with every kind of sweet and savory option we could have possibly dreamed up for ourselves, and the characters made it that much more magical! It was straightup PAINFUL to have to leave this amazing place, but we can't wait to visit again someday ✨ Thanks for watching, Meg!

You don’t need water bottles to drink water in The Netherlands. Water from the tap tastes just the same, or sometimes even better :-) We have one of the most tasty tap waters in the world.

Haha, we discovered that by the time we were nearing the end of our trip in Amsterdam 😂 We have just trained ourselves into not drinking water from the tap due to how unsafe that can be in the area where we actually live. Everything in the Netherlands works just a little bit better! 🇳🇱

Hi from a dutchie not all showers are like this, but there was no door because there was a big enough gap between the shower and the rest of the bathroom. so that's why there was no door!

That makes sense! We did stay at a few other Dutch hotels with smaller rooms during our trip, and each of them had a door for the shower. I guess it was just the size of the Efteling suite that made space for the steam to escape! 😁 Thanks so much for watching and for your input!
